Establish a system of auditory management
of classroom:including investigation, consultation, and estimation
for the needs of FM system.
Provide estimation of hearing problems:employ excellent
audiologists to handle the whole process. This service asks
the parents or teachers to make appointments over the phone
from March to June, and September to December. Events of
services include various hearing examination, result analysis,
consultation on hearing assistant devices(including hearing
aids, cochlear implant, FM system, and so on.), auditory
rehabilitation, and health care consultation and advices.
Provide itinerancy services:so far, there are ten itinerant
teacher in the center, which periodically do itinerant teachers
in the center, which periodically do itinerate through the
preschool, elementary, junior high, and senior high school.
Establish case managements:search and collect data of
hearing- impaired students and build the files, then provide
them to the itinerant teachers as reference.
Identifications and placement of hearing-impaired students:from
March to June of every year, handle identifications and
placement of hearing-impaired students in this city, then
follow the proper and flexible principles, and let all the
students obtain the best placement.
Handle hearing-impaired education workshop:in accordance
to the needing of the teachers and parents of hearing-impaired
students, invite experts for a speech im the school or arrange
for a visit to related organizations, to enrich the knowledge
of teachers and parents of the hearing-impaired, so that
the hearing-impaired students can obtain more attention
and assistance.
Handle hearing-impaired adult education:ttrain the hearing-impaired
appropriate adult hobby, seek life interest, increase life
quality, and build up more social contact opportunities
through exercising and learning. Courses are open from March
to September of every year. Courses of handicraft, badminton,
and pong are already established so far.
Publish hearing-impaired education Journal:the content
includes knowledge on hearing-impaired, learning on teaching,
experience sharing, happenings about the success of hearing-impaired
people, contents on the speech of specialized topics, students
works, sharing of good books, etc..
Buying, borrowing, and editing of teaching materials and
judging instruments:collect and edit related teaching materials
on hering- impaired, and then provide them to teachers as
reference. Lend and provide FM system tp the hearing-impaired
students.
